People in this photo eat traditional Chinese food: hot pot to celebrate the Moon Festival. Moon festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, is one of the most important events for the Chinese. It held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese lunar calendar. Moon Festival dated back over 3000 years to moon worship in china’s Shang Dynasty and is also an occasion for family reunion.
