Creativity in the Classroom

Creativity in the Classroom is an Exhibition of Children’s Art from County Antrim and Armagh.

Creativity in the Classroom Exhibition at Armagh County MuseumThis exhibition celebrates the extraordinary artistic achievements of a small, rural school, near Cullybackey, Co Antrim (click image to enlarge).

The Headmaster was RL Russell who taught there for 34 years (1923-57). Many visitors to this exhibition will undoubtedly be surprised to see that artwork of this quality has been produced by children as young as 10 years old.

The display also includes recent work from Mount St Catherine’s Primary school, Armagh, who are exploring the history of their school and surrounding area.
