Thomas Mellon Visit

200 years ago on 3rd February 1813, Thomas Mellon was born on a small farm in the town land of Camphill
in County Tyrone. His emigration from Tyrone to Pennsylvania at the age of five would see him rise to became a judge, banker, entrepreneur, millionaire and founding father in Pittsburgh, one of America's richest business dynasties. To mark the special anniversary at the museum built  around his iconic birthplace, we re-enact the one day he ever returned to his humble homestead at Camphill at the age of 69. We present the return of Thomas Mellon.
