Living linen archiveThe Living Linen Collection is based on an oral history project set up in 1995 to record recollections of the linen industry in Northern Ireland.
 
Between 1999 and 2002, the Heritage Lottery Fund provided a grant to support recording of information from people involved in the industry.
 
The collection exceeds 300 interviews with people that worked in the linen industary in Northern Ireland. All of the recordings have been transcribed for ease of access and can be accessed through our Collections Online section.
 
These recordings are available for reference and study at the library of the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum (telephone +44 (0) 28 9042 8428 to arrange an appointment.
