Crafts and skills workshops
Engage with the past as you explore the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum. This unique setting affords your group the opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops, drama sessions or themed tours.
All learning programmes have been developed and will be facilitated by experienced and trained staff. Students will have fun learning how to bake over an open fire, dip a candle or handle objects which Titanic's passengers may have carried on board, just some of the options available.
Please note these sessions are popular and are subject to availability so should be booked well in advance.
Alternatively you can lead your group on a self-guided visit. The Museum offers groups the opportunity to explore many themes connected to their area of interest such as Victorian and Edwardian life, Titanic, food and farming, flight, social history, occupations, gender roles, houses and homes, early transport, photography and art. On the day of your visit call in to our Visitor Information Centre for details of demonstrations being carried out in the exhibit buildings.
Downloadable resources are available.
