The Museum’s exhibits and costumed visitor guides illustrate a way of life which is fast disappearing. They also can inspire, and provide a perfect backdrop for, dramatic productions set around the mid-nineteenth to early twentieth century.
We offer student and adult groups the opportunity to use the museum as a backdrop for self-led drama workshops and rehearsals. Many groups choose to stay in the Museum’s residential centre to make best use of the facilities for intensive rehearsal (and social!) time.
The Learning Centre staff will be happy to discuss your needs and support your visit in any way possible.
