Local environmental charity, Ulster Wildlife, held its 2013 Annual General Meeting and associated member’s day at the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum, Ireland’s largest open air museum. Members of the charity were free to explore the beautiful parkland of the Folk Museum and enjoy guided nature walks through Discovery Farm, experiencing country living from 100 years ago.

One of Northern Ireland’s leading tourist attractions was transformed into lively scene from the 1700s for a multi-million pound commercial for the Grand National, which was aired on Channel 4.

BT held its 40 Years’ Service Dinner amongst one of the largest and widest ranging transport collections in Europe, the Irish Railway Gallery in the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum. 200 guests enjoyed a drinks reception at Belfast Central before travelling in style by steam train to the Transport Museum. Visitor guides in traditional 1900s style costume greeted everyone as they arrived at Cultra railway station and accompanied everyone with lanterns to the Irish Railway Gallery for dinner.
