We have a number of shops where you’ll find a perfect memento of your trip to the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum. Our new combined Visitor Information Centre and gift shop is a good place to start. It’s situated in the Folk Museum's Ballycultra town, opposite the sweet shop.
You’ll get friendly advice on how to make the most of your visit and you can choose from Northern Ireland crafts such as Eden Pottery, handmade in County Down, and locally made ‘Shazam’ jams and chutneys. You’ll also find quality gifts and souvenir items from top brands including Belleek Pottery and Ulster Weavers. We also stock a range of local interest books.
There’s something too for children. The gift shop has a wide variety of novelty items and educational toys, as well as a selection of books and pocket money items.
As an alternative, take a trip down memory lane in to our authentic Corner Shop sweet shop. Ask for a quarter of sweets, weighed out in the traditional way by a guide in period costume.
Not surprisingly, the General Transport Galleries shop has a transport theme. From toy trains to Titanic-related merchandise, plus a selection of intriguing transport-related books, it offers something for everyone.
