Ulster Museum, Belfast
The current building has been established in the Botanic Gardens since 1929, although the origins of the collections can be traced back to 1821. The museum was transferred from Belfast City Council (then Belfast Corporation) to a Board of Trustees in 1962, acquiring new status as a National Museum.

Step back in time in and uncover a way of life from 100 years ago. Discover cottages, farms, schools and shops as you wander through the beautiful parkland of the Folk Museum chatting to costumed visitor guides demonstrating traditional crafts.
Ulster American Folk Park
The Ulster American Folk Park is an outdoor museum of emigration which tells the story of millions of people who emigrated from Irish shores throughout the 18th and 19th centuries.
