Food for the Table

Time/Date - 10:00 - 16:00, Mon 28 Aug 2017

Join us for a celebration of traditional home cooked foods.

A celebration of home-made food and drink from 100 years ago.  Discover the chutneys, preserves and homemade beverages, like refreshing elderflower cordial, that brought the traditonal table to life.
Sample a range of homemade breads baked on the open fire.  See the butter being freshly churned and sample a variety of staple farm vegtables that were eaten, such as mushrooms and potatoes.  There's sure to be something plated up to delight all palettes.
