Reminiscence

Reminiscence at the Ulster Museum, Seventies decade imageReminiscence is the recall of events in a person’s life, either alone, or with another person or a group of people. It is the process of thinking, recalling and telling personal past experiences.

Our boxes contain everyday objects on themes useful to reminiscence groups and people of all ages who wish to use the activity of reminiscence to appreciate their life stories as a rich resource for themselves, their families and their communities (the image above shows the contents of the 70's reminiscence box, click to enlarge).

This service is FREE. The loan period is for a maximum of two weeks. The borrower is required to collect and return the box to the Ulster Museum. The borrower is responsible for the safe return of all the items borrowed.
