Wildlife training courses by renowned experts from around Britain and Ireland.
Hay-scented Buckler Fern Dryopyeris aemula © John Faulkner
John Faulkner, BSBI Vice County Recorder for County Armagh, will spend the day helping us to identify Ferns using keys. We will be taking a walk around the site to find species to identify. Samples will also be examined under microscopes to allow us to get familiar with identification features. This event supports Northern Ireland Environment Week.
Centre for Environmental Data and Recording (CEDaR) Training Courses are aimed at anyone interested in wildlife. It is hoped that attendees will become wildlife recorders; recording what they see around them and submitting their records to CEDaR Online Recording – www.habitas.org.uk/records.

- This course is suitable for beginners.
