Georgian Splendour

Time/Date - 14:00 - 16:00, Wed 2 Aug 2017

A Live Well free open afternoon for the over 50s.

Take a look at the silver gilt “Kildare Toilet Service” and uncover some of the mysteries surrounding the morning routines of wealthy women in the Georgian period.  Following a break for tea and coffee there will be a “language of fans” creative workshop.

Part of the Live Well project which is funded by the Big Lottery and offers free learning and engagement programmes to community groups for the  over 50s.

Our free open afternoons are part of this project and welcome anyone over the age of 50.  We aim to involve participants with the collection of the Ulster Museum.  We especially welcome new visitors and anyone who doesn’t normally visit museums to come along to discover what we can offer.
