Saints and Scholars explores Irish history from AD 400 to AD 1600.
This exhibition begins by marking the arrival of Christianity in Ireland which was accompanied by the introduction of writing. Subsequent significant events include the later Viking invasions and moving through the Medieval period, the collapse of the last independent Irish kingdoms.
