Ancient Egypt was one of the most prosperous countries in the world and amongst the oldest and best known civilisations.
Takabuti: Life and Death in Ancient Egypt explores the traditions of the people of this time and place through objects used both in life and to be used after death in the next life. This exhibition also tells the story of Takabuti, the mummy of an Egyptian lady.
